14 Jan Mary & Mike: November 3rd
Mary: I went to Qatar in the year 2013 and met Mike there while working in the same company,I recall I first saw him in the employee dining during lunch hour, since I had just joined the company he said Hi and joined the table and basic introduction took place, being my first time outside the country he kept checking on me and just making sure i was comfortable of course reaping points of a caring,loving and humble gentleman, The lunch dates at the employee dining continued Considering the culture and strict marital laws in Qatar where accommodation for ladies are separate to those of gents and visiting is quite restricted Mike opted for countless coffee ,dinner dates, walk in the streets & walk in the dunes this made our bond very strong and made us realize we were perfect match for each other . In 2015 he arranged surprise proposal at Marriott Marquis Hotel in Doha, it was a surprise dinner he popped the big question, with help of friends and hotel staff it created long lasting memories We got engaged in a traditional engagement at Nyeri, quite an experience for mixed culture, the engagement opened the door for our marriage, the journey has been sweet , by God’s Grace we took the vows on November 3rd.
